How does our limited lifetime warranty work? It's pretty simple really and goes like this:

After your initial purchase the remaining life of the motor is prorated and a credit is given on the purchase of a new motor.

1-2 Years = a new replacement motor is exchanged free of charge for the original motor, and we pay the shipping to and from our location. The original motor MUST be shipped to us first and received at our location before the replacement will be re-sent to you. We will expedite this process to get you back up and running as quick as possible...we KNOW how important your machine is to you. There are NO charges to YOU during the first 2 years after the initial purchase.

3-4 Years = a prorated 20% credit will be given to you towards the purchase of a new replacement motor at the current purchase price listed on our website at this time.

Example, you purchased a drive 3 years ago for $2,500 but now thanks to inflation the current price is $2,600. So $2,500 X 20% = $500 prorated credit to be applied to your new purchase price of $2,600 - $500 = $2,100

We do not need the old motor returned back to us, you can keep it for spare parts or sell it on eBay or Craigslist.

5-6 Years = a prorated 15% credit will be given to you on the current purchase price of the new replacement motor being sold on our website at this time.

Example, you purchased a drive 5 years ago for $2,500 but now thanks to inflation the current price is $2,900. So $2,500 X 15% = $375 prorated credit to be applied to your new purchase price of $2,900 - $375 = $2,525

We do not need the old motor returned back to us, you can keep it for spare parts or sell it on eBay or Craigslist.

7+ Years = a prorated 10% credit will be given to you on the current purchase price of the new replacement motor being sold on our website at this time.

Example, you purchased a drive from us 7 years ago for $2,500 but now thanks to inflation the current price is $3,200. So $2,500 X 10% = $250 prorated credit to be applied to your new purchase price of $3,200 - $250 = $2,950

We do not need the old motor returned back to us, you can keep it for spare parts or sell it on eBay or Craigslist.


The FINE Print

1. You MUST perform routine maintenance and fluid changes on your machine and the drive motor itself. You SHOULD do this anyway...so do it. If the oil in our drive motor is jet black and smells awful, our warranty is void. Follow your machine manufacturer's maintenance schedule.

This includes routine system hydraulic fluid flushing, and case drain filter replacements. If you are not sure what a case drain filter is, or if your machine has one please buy an owners manual or schedule regular maintenance with your local dealer.

****Lack of routine hydraulic system cleaning, metal or other debris in the system or a clogged case drain filter are the main causes of drive motor failures...and we are not responsible for negligence of routine maintenance of the machine or our drive motors.

The fluid in our drive motors need to be routinely changed to prolong the life expectancy just as any other fluid driven part on your machine.

2. You MUST provide your original invoice or show proof you actually did purchase the original motor from us. Although we do keep sales records, make sure the name the motor was purchased under and the name you are claiming warranty under are the same...and you are not buying a "warranty drive" for your brother in law :)

3. Our warranty IS transferable, which could be a nice perk for the new owner when you are ready to sell the machine. Please make the new machine owner a copy of your original sales invoice.

4. We do reserve the right to refuse any claim you submit if we determine the failure was not do to the workmanship of the drive motor itself. Finaldrivemotors.com is responsible for making this determination at their sole discretion.

Example of a denied claim would be the outer housing of the motor is cracked due to hitting something in the field. That example would NOT be due to a defect in manufacturing of the motor, but rather owner operator error/negligence.

5. FinalDriveMotors.com is not responsible for damage to our products from installation errors, improper fluids or any alterations you have done to your machine that is not OEM approved.

6. FinalDriveMotors.com is not responsible or liable for any labor costs associated with a potential warranty claim. You are responsible for removal, installation and any other costs related to the drive motor at your expense.

7. FinalDriveMotors.com is not liable or responsible for any other charges or expenses, loss of business income, rental fees, or professional fees that you might experience.

7. FinalDriveMotors.com is not liable or responsible for any personal injury or death that might occur with your machine, our drive motor, installation, performance, or maintenance of your machine or our products. You hold harmless FinalDriveMotors.com, it's employees, suppliers and owners when you purchase products from us.

In Summary

We strive very hard to only purchase quality parts from trusted suppliers we have vetted. We are just as human as everyone else and from time to time there will be defects and warranty issues.

We will handle any potential warranty claim as if it were a drive motor WE purchased from the internet for our personal machine and treat you and the claim as WE would expect to be treated.
